Picadilly @ Kah Hoe's Farewell

Today, is the last day of year 2009 and also the last day of Kah Hoe stayed in UM. Kah Hoe, he is my lab senior. Since i'm worked in UM started July 2009, he already told that he will leave us in August if he managed to get a new job. Start his job hunting long time ago. August passed and September came, and he told that the maximum will stay until October. But October also passed followed by Novemver and December, month after month and after he stayed with us for the another 6 months (OMG, i worked in UM for half year already, really freaking fast!!) , finally he managed to get his desired job (perhaps it is) work as pharmaceutical sale representative in Merck, a quite well-known company starting January 2010..

A farewell for him in Picadilly. Haha, first planned to go for Korean House but some of them not really keen on Korean food. Therefore, i'm suggested go to Picadilly, one of my favourite dinning and hanging out place. The food there is tasty good and served in big portion with reasonable price...Not bad to have a try there.

A total 10 of us from different departments background had a farewell lunch for him.

Coincidentally, both of us wear the same but different colour cloth and also remember to bring the camera.

My team is small and he is the one who teached me a lot in the laboratoryar and research work. He is our little boss where we used to refer to him for everthing..Hehe, with his leave, i have to become more independent and take over his job, including the troublesome admin work T.T Hopefully i can survive in this challenging research world. Not hopefully but is a MUST!! Not forget, good luck and enjoy in his new job...:P and a big THANK YOU to him (even though he not read my blog...hehe)

How would be the lab life in this coming 2010? T.T....

Four Happy Season Restaurant

Went for 4 Season Happy Restaurant twice in a week.

The first and first time went there, is with my dearest friends during christmas day. Purposely drove all the way from PJ to Wangsa Maju just to have a dinner. Had to know about this four season restaurant from one of my friend's blog. Actually, we had no idea how the way from PJ to Wangsa Maju and to the restaurant. Hence, we got lost many times along the way even though with a printed google map on hand. We really can't read the map well as somebody did it and none of us is a good live GPS too. However, we managed to reach there by asking around people from time to time.

Prior reached the restaurant, we had great expectation about the "four season" there. Actually, nothing much special also, and the food there also ok ok only, but the service is quite well. The restaurant is divided into four different rooms, each with its own theme: spring, summer, autumn, and winter. We planned to dine in in the winter or autumn corner but it was seemed fully occupied, then we ended up attached to the spring corner.

My ordering:
-Mushroom sauce chicken chop: RM14.90
-Cappucino layered with chocolate syrup topped woth coffee jelly: RM6.80

-Vanila layered with kiwi, mango toppe

Second time is went with my brother and his friends during lunch time. There got lunch promotion from 12 noon to 4pm, know about that during my first time went there. This time, managed to sit in the winter corner. I like the blue ambience there very much. Saw a notice at the entrance door and perhaps due to afternoon time, and hence not really can feel the winter cold? Anyway, among those four rooms, i feel that winter and autumn are nicer.

After the lunch, we went to window shopping in the new opening shopping centre - Wangsa Walk Mall. Surprise to see bowling centre there, haha, next time can go there play bowling liao. Miss to play bowling very much ~.~ And surprise to see Geogroge Town White Coffee (only see one in Penang, and none before in KL) .. Haha, Old Town White Coffee is available anywhere in Peninsular Malaysia compared to this Geogre Town White Coffee. However, both are my favourite yamcha place. ^.^

09圣诞装饰
